A vehicle carrying a toddler rolled into a church playground in Florida after being left unattended while a parent dropped off another child.
The vehicle travelled approximately 25 yards on its own, crossed a ditch, and broke through a perimeter fence before coming to a stop within the playground. At the time of the incident, no children were present in the area. The toddler inside the vehicle, restrained by only a seatbelt, was not injured.
Following the incident, the driver removed the child and left the scene. Authorities later located and arrested the individual, who was charged with child neglect and leaving the scene of a crash involving property damage.
