giant 13 metre sea turtle unveiled at new port noarlunga playground in south australia

A new playground featuring a 13-metre-long sea turtle play structure has opened in South Australia, forming the centrepiece of a new community play space in Port Noarlunga South. The large turtle structure incorporates interactive play elements including climbing features and a slide, creating a themed play environment designed to encourage active outdoor play.

The playground also includes additional facilities such as swings, a carousel, climbing nets and open play areas, along with supporting amenities including seating, barbecue areas and bike racks. Sports features including a basketball and netball half-court are also included within the park.

The new play space forms part of a broader residential community development designed to provide recreational facilities for local families and residents. The playground is intended to serve as a central gathering space for the community while offering a range of play opportunities for children.
