Area 51 has announced plans to open its largest indoor adventure playground to date, with a new 7,000-square-metre facility set to open at Brisbane’s Skygate entertainment precinct near Brisbane Airport.

Designed as an all-weather destination for people of all ages, the purpose-built venue will feature giant climbing areas, trampolines, ninja-style obstacle courses, inflatables, a sports court, high ropes, a dedicated toddler zone and an on-site café. The new centre will become Area 51’s seventh Queensland location and is expected to showcase the company’s latest attractions and immersive play experiences. Adults will also be catered for through dedicated evening sessions, expanding the facility beyond traditional family-focused indoor play.

The fully air-conditioned venue aims to provide year-round recreation regardless of weather conditions and continues the company’s expansion following the opening of its major Ipswich play centre.
