Playground Upgrades in California Add Autism-Friendly Features

Upgrades at a California Park have introduced new playground features designed to better support children with autism. The improvements focus on creating a more inclusive environment through the addition of sensory-friendly equipment and design elements.

The playground now includes features aimed at reducing overstimulation and supporting different sensory needs, alongside traditional play equipment. These additions are intended to provide a more accessible and comfortable experience for children who may benefit from quieter or structured play environments.

The upgrades also improve overall usability of the space, allowing a wider range of children and families to access and use the playground.
